------Josh's Review------
Over the years we've seen zombies evolve from slow walking lackadaisical nonhumans to mad, animalistic undead who run
and bite and have scary selflessness due to this anger or instinct. I'd say it was an improvement for the better. But, how
many times do you watch these movies and think: What if these zombies were intelligent? The "Invasion" isn't considered
a zombie movie. Its an alien movie right? Well how do we define a "zombie" film. Dictionary.com suggests that zombies
involve the reanimation of a dead body which upon reanimation is apathetic. Bottom line criteria might just be something,
maybe a virus, that takes people's minds from them. With these guidelines in mind, we can consider this a zombie film. The
divergence is that these zombies are intelligent. They are convincing, thoughtful even proud. They can act with teamwork and
make plans; all the while having the same wreckless abandon as other zombies. They look like us, act much like us, and even
retain their previous person's memories and connections. This is a more realistic approach to a zombie race who can really
take over the world. This movie doesn't have a lot of gore and scary monsters with red eyes and blood, but if I was an alien
or a zombie then I would consider this idea for extermination of the human race. Thank God for Olliver.

------Jeremiah's Review------
This movie was pretty fucking good. The story was an adaption of an older movie Invasion of the Body Snatchers which
scared the crap out of me when I was little. I swear to this day Mrs. Cox was one of them, that sneaky little bitch was trying
to take our brains I KNOW IT...oh sorry about that. Anyway Nicole Kidman gives an excellent performance as does everyone
in the movie who plays the roles of the aliens, they were very convincing. This movie provided just the right amount of a
creepy, gory, suspenseful mixture to warrant a great score.
I give it 4 cups of coffee out of 5.
