The Slaughter

For this movie we will rank it with its most memorable image as we have done for so many other films. The Slaughter will somehow be ranked in regurgitated intestine.

------Josh's Review------
This movie was advertised on OnDemand as following the Evil Dead tradition. It did in fact follow the tradition through an ancient book that revives some sort of evil from the past, which takes the form of zombies. However, this movie will never be as highly regarded as any of the Evil Dead, Bruce Campbell movies. Its acting is even worse than the low payed amateur actors who made the original Evil Dead. Its dialogue was frequently awkward and awfully written, but it did yield some enjoyable comic relief. Also, the story was unoriginal and quite uninteresting. But, I loved it. It lives up to its name in the gore department by any measure. How can they make a guy being pulled into the ground something memorable and abominable? - by squeezing his intestines out of his mouth. Beautiful! And not to forget the opening seen of 8-10 girls performing a ritual in which they begin wearing cloaks, but end all natural. You know, it creeped me out at times. I have a burning desire to give this movie a four out of five, but it just doesn't quite qualify. 3 3/4 feet of large intestine bloodily spewed out of a poor dying man's lips out of 5.

-----Jeremiah's Review-----
The gore in this movie rocks.  In fact it may have rocked my face off...well not mine but several people in the movie got different body parts rocked off.  As Josh has already said the guy being pulled in to the grave has to be one of the greatest things i've ever seen, period, and I will stand by that until the day that I die.  I mean the man's guts shot out of his fucking mouth like cheese wiz, thats fucking increadible.
3 3/4 feet of large intestine bloodily spewed out of a poor dying man's lips out of 5 also
